How to Make Crockpot Feijoada?

  1. Add a little oil to a skillet and brown the ribs on all sides. Once these are done nicely, remove them from the skillet and set them aside.
  2. Now add chopped onion and garlic to the skillet and cook for about 3 minutes or until translucent on medium heat.
  3. Once these are brown, add tomatoes to the skillet and cook until the mixture is soft and combined.
  4. Transfer the mixture to the slow cooker bowl.
  5. Add ribs to the cooker, beans, and 1 ½ cups of beef broth and cumin.
  6. Adjust the settings to low and cook it for about 6 to 8 hours. Cook it until the ribs are tender and easily pull apart.
