Ingredients

For The Pumpkin Matcha Scones

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup light brown sugar
  • 1 ½ teaspoons matcha powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter cold & cubed
  • ½ cup pumpkin puree
  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

For The Vanilla Glaze

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

For The Pumpkin Glaze

  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • ½ teaspoon pumpkin puree
  • 1 teaspoon heavy cream
  • ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven and keep the temperature to 375℉.
  • Mix dry ingredients such as matcha powder, sugar, cinnamon, flour, baking soda, ginger, and salt.
  • Make butter crumb-like crumbs from your flour.
  • In another bowl, you can collect eggs. Add vanilla cream, vanilla, and pumpkin puree. Mix all the ingredients.
  • Mix dry and moist components, and work the dough into a ball.
  • Spray the surface with flour and place the dough on top.
  • Cut the dough into pieces and roll it into the preferred shapes.
  • Bake these sweets until they become golden. It could take between 12 and 15 minutes to achieve the right hue.
  • Allow them to cool before you can prepare the glaze.
  • Blend the cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla to create the vanilla glaze. Mix until it is an appropriate consistency.
  • Mix your pumpkin purée, cream powdered sugar, and vanilla to make a pumpkin glaze.
  • Add powdered sugar or milk to adjust how thick both glazes are.
  • Put the vanilla glaze over the scones, then pour the pumpkin glaze.
