Ingredients

  • 1 cup organic honey yogurt
  • ½ cup raw sugar
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ cup raw honey
  • 1 cup fresh or dried figs roughly chopped
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • cup canola oil
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cloves

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven and keep the temperature to 325 degrees.
  • Mix oil, sugar, honey, vanilla, yogurt, and eggs.
  • Sift the flour, oats, baking powder, baking soda, cloves, and sea salt.
  • Combine wet and dry mixture to make a smooth batter.
  • Fold the figs in the batter.
  • Distribute the batter into 12 muffins in a muffin tray.
  • Bake the muffins in the oven. It may take 15 to 20 minutes.
