  3. Avocado: It adds a creamy, buttery texture to the tacos. Use them diced or meshed. Diced avocado adds a chunkier texture. 
  4. Taco seasoning: It is a chili powder, paprika, and cumin blend. Use these spices individually instead of this seasoning, and adjust the amount according to your needs. 
  5. Shrimp: For the recipe, use fresh or frozen shrimp. But if you don’t like shrimp, replace them with fish, chicken, or tofu for variation in the dish.

How To Make Shrimp Tacos Recipe?

1: Prepare the mayo garlic sauce

  • Mix the mayo with meshed garlic, lemon juice, and sour cream. 
  • Chop the fresh cilantro and add it to the mayo mixture. 
  • Stir in the salt and black paper in the mayo. 
  • Stir with a spoon until well combined. 
  • Set it aside.

2: Saute the shrimp

  • Clean and wash the shrimp properly. 
  • Pat dry them. 
  • Marinate them with taco seasoning.
  • Turn on the stove and melt the butter in a pan. 
  • Saute the marinated shrimp in the butter for 5 minutes.

3: Prepare the cabbage slaw

  • Cut the purple and green cabbage with a sharp knife. 
  • Drizzle some mayo on them. 
  • Mix well and make a cabbage slaw for filling.

4: Cut the veggies

  • Chop the cherry tomatoes finely. 
  • Dice an avocado finely and keep it aside. 
  • Chope fresh parsley or cilantro. 

5: Assemble the tacos

  • Take out the tortillas. 
  • Put the cabbage slaw on them. 
  • Put the sauteed shrimp. 
  • Spread the cherry tomatoes and avocados.

Ingredients

For mayo sauce

  • 2 tablespoons mayo
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • 3 garlic cloves meshed
  • 1 tablespoon cilantro finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon Salt or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Black paper or to taste

For filling

  • 1 cup green cabbage finely chopped
  • 1 cup purple cabbage finely chopped
  • 1 avocado diced
  • Cherry tomatoes finely chopped

For Shrimp Tacos

  • 3 tablespoons Taco seasoning
  • 1- pound Shrimps
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 3 Tortilla wrap
  • Feta cheese shredded

Instructions

  • Add mayonnaise and smashed garlic sour cream in a small bowl, and squeeze fresh lime juice.
  • Add finely chopped cilantro. Add salt and black paper to taste.
  • Use the spoon to mix them well.
  • Set it aside until needed. Please take off the shrimp and wash them properly before seasoning them with taco seasoning.
  • Turn on the heat, melt butter, and sauté the marinated shrimp in it
  • After it is done, turn off the heat.
  • Cut fresh green and purple cabbage.
  • Marinate them with mayo and make a cabbage slaw.
  • Cut the cherry tomatoes.
  • Finely diced an avocado.
  • Take out the tortilla wraps and place the mayo cabbage slaw on them
  • Put the sauté shrimp.
  • Spread cherry tomatoes and diced avocado.
