How To Make Chocolate Coconut Tart?

1: Prepare the crust

  • Prepare the crust
  • Mix sugar, shredded Coconut, and salt in a small bowl.
  • Stir in the crumb blend of coconut butter, vanilla extract, and coconut emulsion.
  • Transfer the mix to a tart tin and press the crust down firmly.
  • Prepare the filling until the mixture is set.

2: For the filling

  • Boil the heavy whipping cream, vanilla, coconut emulsion (emulsion), sugar, and sea salt on medium heat. Stir it constantly.
  • Once the mixture has boiled, remove the pan and add butter.
  • Stir until it becomes smooth and silky.
  • Pour the filling on the crust made from graham-cracked cookies in the fridge.
  • Place the tart dish in the fridge for a few hours to allow it to set.
  • Sprinkle some Coconut Chips on top while serving.

Ingredients

For The Crust

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • cup unsweetened shredded coconut
  • cup white sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon coconut bakery emulsion

For The Filling

  • 1 ½ cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon coconut bakery emulsion
  • 1 pinch of sea salt
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter cold & cubed
  • 200 grams of high-quality dark chocolate roughly chopped
  • coconut chips for topping

Instructions

  • Mix graham crunch crumbs in a bowl with sugar, coconut, salt, and shredded coconut.
  • Mix well the butter with the coconut emulsion (or vanilla extract) and the coconut emulsion.
  • Transfer the mix to tart pans. Place the pans and a firm, hard crust in the fridge to set for a couple of hours.
  • Heat the coconut emulsion (or sugar), vanilla extract, salt and heavy cream on medium heat.
  • Once the mixture starts to boil, keep stirring it and remove it from heat immediately.
  • Add dark cocoa and butter, and mix well to make a smooth and silky mixture.
  • Pour the creamy cream filling onto the crust. Let the mixture chill for at least two hours.
  • Sprinkle coconut flakes on your dishes.
