Ingredients

  • 1 pound Kielbasa or Smoked Sausage
  • 1 cup raw rice
  • 2 cups sauerkraut drained
  • ½ cup green pepper chopped
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 11 ounces tomato soup
  • 11 ounces hot water

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven.
  • Grease a baking pan with oil.
  • Wash the rice and spread an even layer of them in the baking pan at the bottom.
  • Drain the liquid from sauerkraut and distribute its even layer on top of the rice layer.
  • Cut the sausage into half circles and spread them over the sauerkraut.
  • Wash and cut the veggies and top them over the other layers.
  • Mix the tomato soup with hot water and pour it over the baking pan.
  • Cook for 45 minutes. Serve hot.
