Lemon Bars

For The Crust
- 1 cup unsalted butter room temperature
- ½ cup raw sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- pinch of salt
For The Filling
- 4 large eggs
- 1 ¾ cups granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 heaping tablespoon lemon zest
- ⅔ cup fresh squeezed lemon juice
- ⅔ cup flour
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees before making the bars.
Create the dough by mixing the sugar and butter until it becomes smooth.
Mix flour in until it resembles dough.
Place the dough on the baking tray.
Bake for between 15 and 20 minutes until you’ve prepared the filling.
Break eggs, then beat them thoroughly with lemon zest, vanilla flour, sugar, and flour to fill.
Pour this filling into the baked crust and bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
Let it cool down before cutting.
