Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • ½ cup icing sugar + more for dusting
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg
  • ½ cup raw walnuts finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon water

Instructions

  • Prepare the oven for cookies. Keep the temperature at 350℉.
  • Using the paddle attachment, beat the confectioners’ sugar and butter in the bowl of a stand mixer until it becomes airy and smooth.
  • Mix vanilla in and beat.
  • Combine the flour, nutmeg, and sea salt into the butter mixture.
  • Mix chopped nuts, fold them into the flour mixture, and then knead a dough.
  • If the dough is dry.
  • Create bite-sized balls using the dough.
  • Bake for about 12–15 minutes.
  • Let the cookies cool, and then roll into powdered sugar.
