Ingredients

  • cups beef broth
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • cup jasmine rice
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 finely chopped green bell pepper
  • 1 finely chopped onion
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • ½ can tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ teaspoon salt or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper or to taste
  • 2 cups shredded cheder cheese
  • 1 ½ tablespoon vegetable oil optional

Instructions

  • Turn on the instant pot and put the ground beef in it.
  • Add finely chopped onion and saute it well until the beef changes color and releases its juice.
  • Add the mashed garlic and green bell pepper. Mix them with a wooden spatula.
  • Add the diced tomatoes, beef broth, and spices.
  • Wash the rice and add them in the pot.
  • Mix with a spoon very well.
  • Put the lid on the pot and set it for 5-6 minutes.
  • Once done, carefully remove the lid and spread the shredded cheese.
  • Close the lid again and let the cheese melt.
  • Dish out the casserole and serve hot.
