Ingredients

Ingredients (to marinate chicken)

  • 2 lbs. Chicken wings
  • 1 tbsp powdered lemon pepper seasoning
  • 1 tbsp green powdered seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper up to taste

Ingredients (for honey sauce)

  • 4 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp powdered lemon seasoning
  • 1 tsp lemon juice

Ingredients (for coating)

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (Skip if you want to stay Gluten-free)
  • 1 tbsp lemon pepper seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper up to taste

Instructions

  • Wash and clean chicken wings and put them in a mixing bowl.
  • Add all the seasonings with salt and pepper and mix well. Cover and set aside.
  • In another small mixing bowl, pour flour and add all the ingredients for coating in the flour. Mix well.
  • Heat cooking oil in a frying wok. Coat the chicken wings lightly with seasoned flour and dip them in hot oil.
  • Fry for 8 to 10 minutes or until they turn crisp and golden. Remove and place them on a paper towel to absorb the excess oil.
  • In another pan, heat unsalted butter and add lemon juice. Add 3 to 4 tbsp honey and mix well. Add the lemon pepper seasoning and mix again.
  • When the sauce gets thick, add the fried chicken wings to the pan and mix well so that the sauce coats the chicken well. Serve hot.
