Green Tea Mint Ginger Lemonade

Ingredients

  • 4 cups water boiled
  • 3 tablespoons loose-leaf green tea
  • 1 tablespoon ginger peeled & sliced
  • 3 sprigs fresh mint plus more for garnishing
  • 3 tablespoons raw honey
  • 1-2 tablespoons raw or turbinado sugar
  • ¼ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 sliced lemon for garnishing

Instructions

  • Throw the tea leaves in the water using a kettle or saucepan.
  • Include ginger slices in boiling tea water and let it simmer until you achieve the strength you want from the tea flavor.
  • The tea is then strained.
  • Add honey and sugar to the tea until the two ingredients are dissolved.
  • Place the tea mix in the refrigerator to cool down.
  • Make an iced tea cup and pour the tea mix into it.
  • Sprinkle fresh mint leaves, lemons sliced, and lemon juice.
  • Allow it to rest for a few hours to infuse the mint flavors into the tea.
  • Make a glass, then decorate it with raw sugar.
  • Drink the tea infused with mint and garnish with lemon slices. Enjoy!
