Ingredients
4cupswaterboiled
3tablespoonsloose-leaf green tea
1tablespoongingerpeeled & sliced
3sprigs fresh mintplus more for garnishing
3tablespoonsraw honey
1-2tablespoonsraw or turbinado sugar
¼cupfreshly squeezed lemon juice
1sliced lemon for garnishing
Instructions
Throw the tea leaves in the water using a kettle or saucepan.
Include ginger slices in boiling tea water and let it simmer until you achieve the strength you want from the tea flavor.
The tea is then strained.
Add honey and sugar to the tea until the two ingredients are dissolved.
Place the tea mix in the refrigerator to cool down.
Make an iced tea cup and pour the tea mix into it.
Sprinkle fresh mint leaves, lemons sliced, and lemon juice.
Allow it to rest for a few hours to infuse the mint flavors into the tea.
Make a glass, then decorate it with raw sugar.
Drink the tea infused with mint and garnish with lemon slices. Enjoy!
