Preheat the oven before making the cake batter to 350 degrees.
Whisk molasses, eggnog, salt, sugar, oil, vanilla, yogurt, and salt until well combined.
Take another bowl and mix the flour, cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, salt, baking powder, baking soda and black pepper.
Mix the dry and wet mixtures to get a smooth batter.
Pour the mixture into the cake tin and let it bake for 40 to 45 minutes.
If the top of the cake bounces back to touch, your cake is ready.
Let it cool and serve.
You can have it as it is or glaze with eggnog glaze.
