1 ½lbsboneless beef chuck roast
Salt and pepper as per taste
1red oniondiced
cupcider vinegar
4tbspall-purpose flour
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 450 F, and set the pan with aluminum foil.
Toast the salt and pepper, set the onion over the roast, and pour vinegar over the sides.
Wrap the roast in the foil by keeping the shiny side up. Seal the sides of the foil well.
Pour the water of around one inch into the pan and put the wrapped roast in the pan.
Bake it for 3 to 4 hours or until the roast is tender.
Remove the roast when it is done. Allow the baking pan to cool down for a few minutes.
In the pot, add the baked roast’s juicy water and 2 cups of water.
Add all-purpose flour and cook it over the slow flame until turns thick.
While simmering, occasionally keep stirring until the gravy becomes thick.
Cut the slices of the roast and serve it with the gravy.
Notes
Roast beef at a settled temperature and for the directed time. Excessive heat can make the roast dry and chewy, eventually losing its flavor and tenderness.
