Ingredients
1 ¾cupall-purpose floursifted
⅓cuphigh-quality cocoa powdersifted
2teaspoonsbaking powder
¼teaspoonsea salt
2eggsseparated
¾cupraw sugar
1teaspoonpure vanilla extract
⅓cupcanola oil
⅓cupbuttermelted
1 ¼cupwhole milk
1cupmixed berries for servingstrawberries, blueberries & raspberries
whipped cream for serving
Instructions
Put the cocoa flour, baking soda, and sea salt into a large bowl.
In a separate bowl, combine the egg yolks, butter and oil, raw sugar (or raw sugar substitute), milk, and vanilla.
Combine the ingredients.
Beat the whites of the eggs until they soften.
Mix the batter gently.
Pour one teaspoon of waffle mixture into the waffle-iron using a spoon or spatula. Spread it evenly.
Let it simmer on medium heat for one minute per side.
When serving, sprinkle on chocolate sauce and cream whip.
