Corn is a staple in many cuisines around the world, and it’s not hard to see why. In this recipe, we’ll be stir-frying corn with a few additional ingredients to create a delicious and healthy dish that everyone will love.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups corn kernels (fresh or frozen)
  • 2 Oz Scallions (1 bunch)
  • 1 yellow onion, sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Heat oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat.
  • Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
  • Add corn kernels and cook until lightly browned.
  • Add honey, soy sauce, and black pepper and stir to coat the corn.
  • Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the corn.
  • Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.

Notes

  • Fresh corn kernels are recommended for this recipe, but frozen corn can be used as well.
  • Be sure to cook the corn until it’s lightly browned to bring out its natural sweetness and add texture to the dish.
  • Adjust the amount of honey and soy sauce to your liking. Add more if you prefer a sweeter dish, or less if you prefer a less sweet dish.
  • For a spicier version, add a pinch of red pepper flakes or diced jalapenos to the stir-fry.
