Ingredients

  • 1 cup raw sugar
  • cup maple syrup
  • ½ cup oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup cream or milk
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • powdered sugar for dusting
  • maple butter for drizzle

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven until you make the cake batter, then keep the temperature at 350 degrees.
  • Place the eggs into a bowl, and then beat them up with vanilla, oil eggs, maple syrup, and milk.
  • Mix the flour with baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
  • Mix dry and wet ingredients to create an even batter.
  • Make sure to grease a cake pan with oil and pour the cake batter into it.
  • Set the oven on the stove and bake it.
  • It takes 35-40 minutes to bake the cake perfectly. Drizzle maple syrup over the top and sprinkle powdered sugar.
