Ingredients

For The All Butter Pie Dough

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 4 tablespoons ice water
  • ½ cup unsalted butter cold

For The Pies Pops

  • 1 all butter pie dough see ingredients above
  • 1 ½ cups apples peeled & diced
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • ½ teaspoon ginger
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 egg whisked for egg wash
  • 12 wooden candy sticks

Instructions

  • Make pie dough with flour, salt, water, and butter. Let it rest in the fridge for 2 hours.
  • Preheat the oven and keep the temperature up to 375°F.
  • Prepare the fruit filling by cooking the apples, blueberries, sugars, ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  • Add the cornstarch and lemon juice mixture to the fruit mixture and let it thicken.
  • Turn off the flame and let the filling cool at room temperature.
  • Roll the pie dough and cut it into rounds.
  • Fill in the apple and blueberry filling and insert the wooden stick.
  • Seal the pie by topping with another layer of pie crust and seal the edges with a fork.
  • Bake until golden brown.
  • Let it cool before serving.
