Ingredients

  • 4 ripe bananas
  • 1 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon mixed herbs and spices such as cinnamon or nutmeg

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (180°C) for 5 minutes.
  • Peel the bananas and slice them into thin, even rounds. Aim for approximately 1/8 inch thickness.

  • Place the banana slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding to ensure even cooking.

  • Set the air fryer to 250°F and cook the banana slices for 20 minutes, flipping them halfway through. Keep an eye on them to prevent over-browning.
  • After 20 minutes, check the banana chips for crispiness. If needed, cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until they reach your desired level of crispiness.
