Ingredients For Air Fryer Banana Chips

You will need:

  • Bananas
  • Vegetable oil
  • Salt
  • Herbs and spices

Ingredient Notes

Bananas: to make the chips, use bananas that are just ripe, but not overly ripe. Overly ripe bananas will become mushy and they have a lot of moisture content. Slice them thinly to make crispier chips.

Vegetable oil: Use oil in a very small amount only to incorporate a bit of taste. I prefer sesame or avocado oil.

Salt: Use kosher salt as per preference.

Herbs and Spices: Banana chips taste better when seasoned only with salt and black pepper. However, herbs and spices like cumin powder, garlic powder, dried thyme, and oregano enhance the overall flavor and aroma.
