Frequently Asked Questions:

Should short ribs be submerged in a slow cooker?

Yes, it is better to cover the ribs in broth but do not flood too much broth in the Cooker. It should be good enough to tender the ribs well and keep them juicy enough.

Are braised ribs the same as short ribs?

Yes, these are precisely the same. The braised ribs have an ideal cut of 3 to 6 inches. If the short rib is of a similar size, then we will consider them both same. For this recipe, ideally, you can have a braised rib or a short one that should not be longer than 6 inches.

Can you overcook beef ribs in a slow cooker?

It is possible to overcook the ribs in a slow cooker if you do not monitor their progress. As a result of overcooking, the meat will get mixed into the broth, and you will not have a perfect rib cut in serving.

What is the best cooking method for short ribs?

Slow cooking is one of the best cooking methods for ribs. It is the ideal option that makes it the best deal for you. However, you can also try grilling them after good marination.
